Wheel Of Fortune

You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

(I've been to Mountain Colors...and I loved it!

There was stash enhancing...I love Mill Ends! Check out the future knitting projects:

Thank you my Just Hillary friends!

I am so blessed to have my friends. These wonderful members of the Ravelry Just Hillary group sent me this pick-me-up...wow. I can't believe their generosity. Peach tea (delicious), Debbie Bliss Prima in Purple, Manos de Uruguay yarn, Tofutsies sock yarn (yep, that is made with shrimp and crab shells...amazing), Carrot Smoothie lip balm (that veggie is useful!), and a whole bouquet of circular needles. The cards and notes included with the package are so heart warming...I just love you guys!

Thank you!

Just Hillary Project progress!

I have been thrilled to collect squares for our Ravelry group (Just Hillary)...Delaney put them together, and there will be another update when more blocks arrive. I"m so excited!

A visit with Mom!

Dear girl made Mom this lovely cross-stitch...and what better time to give it to the Grandma than a birthday? Well, it was almost a birthday, but as we are in school on the actual day, this was the best we could do.

To make the 'almost birthday' even better, Mom was blessed with both grand kids...sort of a miracle since one is in college and the other in high school. We helped to put up 3 cabinets in the kitchen...and it took all 4 of us to get them up there!

The boy had to bring along some of this 'homework'...well done!

October 16 was a glorious day!

I was finally able to view the yarn at Mountain Colors studio! It was a day I will not quickly forget! First, this display greets you as you walk into the studio...the skeins on pulled forward are the new colorways. Let me see if I can remember them: Sandstone, Wild Horse, Grey Wolf, drat, I need two more! Still, my fun wasn't done yet!

These artists dyed yarn while I was there! I am SO stoked...it was such an amazing experience! It was great meeting other Ravely members in person...especially Leslie! I feel so blessed. Of course, I had to bring along my Ozark Autumn stole which I am making with the new lace weight yarn in the Wild Horse colorway...I've even gotten further than the previous post.

Mountain Colors Ozark Autumn Progress!

I am so in love with my Mountain Colors Wild Horse Winter Lace yarn...and then I matched it to the Ozark Autumn stole pattern...which is a match made in heaven. I did learn to not take it to the volleyball game though, socks are more suited for that sport.

Yarny projects!

My last socks of summer...and part of Rick's Christmas present!

Molly's finished scarf. I couldn't find the rest of the yarn for Isobelle (I took it to Harborview, and it will be awhile before I attempt to look for that yarn.)...so I made this seed stitch instead. I hope it keeps her warm during the winter!

These are the blocks for our groups (Just Hillary) project for Senator Clinton. There are other blocks here from My Daily Fiber...and more on the way!

Just in time to give it back...

Last year, Garrett was given an award for being an outstanding 4H member.

Oh, his hair is getting long and curly...and he tells me he can't cut it until Christmas...unless he catches it on fire before then.

Ozark Autumn Stole

This is how far my hug from Dad has progressed. I love this yarn, but not as much as I miss Dad.

The yarn: Mountain Colors Winter Lace in the Wild Horse colorway. Here it is on the ball winder Mom bought for me.

I found a cool site!

While searching for a different way to show my Algebra students Mixture Problems, I found this cool site: Pi Crust.

Wow...there are even streaming videos...handy!

Another of my favorite sites for students is Purple Math. Enjoy!
