Ravelympics and the Astronomy OWL

I love the stitch definition on the Order to Chaos shawl.

A shot to better show the progress...

Row 80 of row 158...that should be 33%!

Ahh...a ball of glorious yarn!

Tempted never really got off the ground...especially as I ran out of yarn.

This ball of double stranded wool/acrylic blend yarn came from......this **UGH** hat.

Ishbel is Crazy Awesome!

The sparkly snow is a fitting backdrop for this beautiful shawl. Crazyfoot is the perfect yarn for it...I'm so glad I was able to test it out for Mountain Colors!

The shawl was created with the small stockinette section then sections ABACDDE. I have enough yarn left (see the bottom photo) that I believe I used around 400 yards. I will weigh it at school to be more precise

Crazyfoot is coming to my needles!

Did I get your attention? Don't worry about my sanity (we already know that is past question)...I'm so excited I can hardly handle it! My knitter friend in Great Falls has received her skein of this glorious new sock yarn from Mountain Colors Yarn...but as I'm fogged in at the farm, and the skein may be 28 miles south at the post office... waiting isn't easy! I wonder what color will be waiting for me? I wonder what to make from it? I'm past wondering how I got to be so lucky as to have been chosen to knit with it...it was meant to be!
