Awe...how cute!

Dear daughter loaned me her favorite bear to pose with my transfiguration homework...I made a mini pumpkin! Now only did she allow her bear to be seen with this piece of fiber finery, she also told some of her friends about this pumpkin adventure. She really does love me!

Poor Caliber...

I wish hunting season was BEFORE teachers had to drive across Montana...at least then the deer would be scared away from the roads!

Evidence between the rim and the tire...yep, it was a deer.

Mina Harker's Scarf...my version!

This month, Defense Against the Dark Arts had us create something which was inspired by a historical person or an undead...so I picked Mina Harker from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I loved her long scarf, but the tone of red I had was a bit off...still, it looks similar to the red of her bite...and therefore works for me! The scarf is 2 skeins of baby alpaca...so soft!

I made a mini shawlette with some gorgeous hand spun yarn...which may not be of colors associated with most Leos, but are tones which I have made my own and will remind me of the beautiful bodies of water I enjoy looking at...but this Lion just doesn't enjoy swimming!

Quidditch Challenge

Today, I will turn this monster skein of light blocking black yarn into sleep eye masks...I have the needed supplies to keep me in one place for quite a while!

Done! The smallest took 34 yards, so with the 6, that is over 204 yards of sleep masks to send to the Trauma unit of Harborview Medical Center!
